We usually don’t tend to look at license plates in movies, but sometimes there’s a hidden meaning behind them. In the Matrix trilogy, you’ll find that most license plates act as references to bible verses.
Morpheus’s and Trinity’s license plate, “DA203”, refers to Daniel 2:03, which says “I have had a dream that troubles me and I want to know what it means,” a hint towards Neo’s search for meaning. Agent Smith’s plate correspond to Isaiah 54:16 – which says “Behold, I have created the smith.”
