Besides license plates with biblical meaning, the Wachowskis also included a cool detail in Matrix Reloaded that connects it to the first Matrix film. When Neo finally meets the Architect of the Matrix, he discovers that he had been watching him his whole life.
And the proof of that can actually be found in the first installment, when Neo is captured by Agents. We can see him being interrogated on a bunch of surveillance monitors, which look exactly the same as the monitors the Architect has.
