When you go to a restaurant, you want to get the most food possible for the best price. It’s the most efficient way to eat because you get more bang for your buck. Unfortunately, it seems that not everyone quite understands what is and isn’t good value for money when fractions are involved.
A&W apparently tried to compete against McDonald’s by offering a bigger burger at a lower price. However, because customers thought that ⅓ was smaller than ¼, their efforts were unsuccessful.
